It’s still hard to believe, even as I type this, that we now own a house! I’m still hesitant to call it our ‘home’ because this is not going to be our permenent residence, nor do I believe it will ever feel like home. After 8 years on the road, our only ‘home’ will continue to be our bus, but now we have a structure on a piece of land.
Our plan is to fix up the house over the next 4 months, while still traveling locally and soaking up family time. The house is near the majority of our relatives, so we plan to enjoy that while we are fixing the house up. After 5 months we will decide what to do with our ‘fixer upper’, weather that be renting it out or selling it.
It’s located in a tiny town most people haven’t heard of on the east coast. In fact, it close to where my parents grew up and lived. Now for the before pictures!

The Inside –
We’re only on day two and you can see the improvements! More photos and an update will come shortly!

Love the pictures, Cali…….especially the kitchen!!! (Just like a woman, right?) We pass your house when we go to our daughter’s house, which is even farther “up” than you are. Can’t wait to see how the “fixing up” progresses. Hope it all goes well. Maybe your parents will even think about “putting down some roots” for a while. :>)
