Hi! It’s been awhile since I’ve posted, hasn’t it? I think my About Me page still says I’m 15! I’m 17 now if that gives you any indication on how lazy I’ve been on here. I guess it is time to go edit that. I think last y’all heard we were in the middle of a house renovations! To bring you up to date, we still have not completed the house (we have one bathroom left to finish) but we are taking in slowly. Now we are down south in Florida for a month before we go back to finish the house this fall!
I will admit, my time for sewing has decreased, but I still love it! In the RV I no longer have my sewing machine but I have a long list of projects once I would like to attempt when we get back to the house. I have made a few projects that have not been photographed or written about, but I hope to talk about them soon! Lately most of my time has been on college research ( a lot of fun, I know) and selling clothes on Ebay.
Now for a few projects I would like to make. First up in finishing a green shift dress I started a while ago, but never bought or installed the zipper to make it wearable. After that I want to make a pair of straight leg canvas pants with a wide elastic waist band, kinda like the Everlane Easy Pants. Next I plan to make a maxi skirt like this tutorial here. Lastly, I was inspired by this video by The Essentials Club to make a simple loose dress. Eventually I would love to make a jacket out of a vintage quilt (like this one and this one). A long list, I know! And that is only the start. I guess we will see where I get, or if I make any of this!
