Agent Carter Cosplay

My dear friend Aimee (you can follow her on Instagram at @el.pro.cosplay) recently attended our first Comic Con! For those who don’t know what that is, it’s basically a huge convention for movie and tv fans who dress up as there favorite characters and walk around. It’s such an amazing experience. The people were wonderful, we saw some wonderful art work, and went to informative panels.

But on to the costume (also know as a ‘cosplay’). We visited for 3 days and each went as different characters each day, but my favorite was my cosplay for the last day, Agent Peggy Carter. She’s from Marvel movies, and has her own TV show called ‘Agent Carter’. But enough chat, lets get to photos!

This one is my absolute favorite photo!

All the photos were taken by Aimee and they look so professional! I think I need her around all the time to take all my photos!

As for outfit details, I bought both the skirt and blouse a Salvation Army in Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania. I’d been looking for them for a while, and was so blessed to find them! The hat is also from the thrift store but several years ago. I saw it on the rack and thought of Agent Carter. The shoes as well are from the thrift store in Mesa, Arizona. The dog tags and ID badge I bought the day before at a booth a the Con. I saw them and couldn’t resist!

As for makeup, I stuck with a neutral, natural face and bold red lip, just like the character. On the topic of hair, I can give you no advice. I wasn’t about to achieve the boufant curls in her lustrous brunette hair. I did manage to get it somewhat wavy, but I am truly horrible at doing hair.

I think this look is my favorite by far of any posts I’ve done! Please let me know in the comments what I should make as my next project! I’m thinking Captain Carter.
