Happy Valentine’s Day! Who is ready for the half-price candy tomorrow? I totally don’t think that is the best part or anything…
While I sit on campus waiting for my next class, I thought I would update you on what’s happening! All three of you who read this. We are a month into the semester here at Santa Fe and I am loving my classes! Call me weird, but I enjoy school and the assignments that accompany it. Currently I am taking 5 classes (2 regular, 3 honors) and looking forward to graduating with my Associates in May! Here is a picture from my ballet/dance class and a picture from a gallery opening:

I have been busy with the Saint Bernard Newspaper as a founding member, editor and PR manager! We are looking to publish our first paper in the next week or so, so I will make sure to keep you updated. Once we have the website up and running I will be sure to share it with you. Other extra curriculars include the Engaged Leadership program with school, Phi Theta Kappa (an honor society), and an honors research project with a professor! At the University of Florida I attend Delight, a women’s Bible study where I have met some great friends – this has been a huge blessing during the past semester and I continue to look forward to what God is doing. In fact, I have a meeting tonight.
Beyond that, I am also looking forward to a craft fair in April! My crochet bestie and I will have a table for all our stuffies at the 51st Annual Spring Art Festival (they estimate 10,000 people visiting!). I have shared photos of a couple on Instagram, but I will make a blog post about them soon.

You probably already know this, but I am going to Cuba over spring break with my church! There we will be visiting a partner church. We are in the thick of fundraising, and I am planning a pickleball tournament for March with the church to help out. If you are in Gainesville, Florida, I invite you to come out!
To close, I am also enjoying babysitting, movie nights, and coffee dates with friends! Phew, I am sorry if that update is exhausting! Before I go, I am going to share five things I have been loving this past month.
Listening to Racing Lives with Aurelie Donzelot (I have listened to every. Single. One. over the past month) (and if you finish this one, I also like Going Purple with Lissie Mackintosh)
Reading Jenny B. Jones’ new book First to Fall! Hers is one of the six books I have managed to get through this year, and it was by far THE BEST.
Watching the new season of Clarkson’s Farm. So funny.
Wearing a new-to-me thrifted striped turtleneck. I find one thing and will wear it everyday for a month, then throw it in my closet to either sell or let it sit there until I have a new-found love for it.
Eating fruit snack literally every day. I have a new-found love for them, and its weird.
You’re welcome for those random tidbits and I hope you have the most amazing day!
Happy Heart’s Day to you, as well, Cali! You wear me out just reading all the activities that you belong to plus keeping up with your classwork as well. But let me encourage you to keep at it as long as you are doing well and enjoy all your activities. Personally, I love that you are attending a Bible Study. That’s where I met my very best friend…and you know who that is!!! :>) Your stuffies are adorable…I hope you do well at the craft show.
I will be praying for you as you go on your mission trip to Cuba. What an exciting opportunity to do the Lord’s work! You ARE blessed to be a blessing. (Genesis 12:2-3) I’ll look forward to hearing a report when you return home. Sending love to you on this Valentine’s Day!
